The Young Township supervisors reached an agreement with Punxsutawney over sewer payments at yesterday’s meeting.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, Lily Cameron, Young Township supervisors vice chair, said the township was going to formalize an agreement with Punxsutawney for $17.57 per EDU for sewage treatment and they will continue with the installation and calibration of flow meters.
The published report adds Young Township will also share sewage costs with Bell Township.
