The Jefferson County of PA Commissioners’ YouTube channel broadcast their recent meeting where they have approved the decertification of Pennsylvania Great Outdoors (PAGO) as the county’s Tourist Promotion Agency.
The commissioners cited a lack of cooperation, accountabilty and transparency from PAGO as the reason for the decision. Commissioner Scott North clarified the allegation that the decision was made because they wated to provide money to Punxsy and were denied saying it was simply not true.
The decision now goes to the municipalities in the county for review and approval.
