Following the announcement on a web post that the Clearfield County Fair will start earlier next year, the Jefferson County Fair Authority released a statement of disappointment.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the two fairs will overlap next year in the middle of July, adding this will impact local vendors, livestock sales, participants and attendees of both fairs.
