A former local woman was recently arrested in Jefferson County for her alleged involvement in the murder of Kirby Carpenter in Mississippi in December 2022.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.Com, Caitlin Spence was apprehended by the United States Marshal Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force at a relative’s home on Belgiumtown Road in Brookville. She waived her extradition rights in court and will be surrendered to Mississippi to face capital murder charges.
