The 45th Annual Run or Walk for Someone Special is on April 14 (Sunday), at Sykesville Town Hall.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports Registration starts at 1:30 p.m., with the race beginning at 3 p.m. Participants can choose between a 2-mile walk or run, a 5-mile run, or a shorter Stroll and Race. Trophies, ribbons, and prizes will be awarded. Money raised supports free summer camps for children and adults with special needs in Jefferson and Clearfield counties.
