Two Renda Media personalities will be honored later today by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
News Anchor Josh Widdowson will be joined by General Manager and Regional Vice President Mark Bertig to accept an Outstanding Local Radio Newscast award for his story “Chief Under Fire.”
The story dates back to January 2023, when former Indiana Borough Chief Detective John Scherf accused current police Chief Justin Schawl of misconduct and threatened to release information to the public if he didn’t resign from his position.
