Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr., has identified the victim involved in a fatal vehicle-pedestrian crash Tuesday morning in Indiana Borough.
Overman said 68-year-old John Forest Reeger of Clarksburg died after he was struck by a box truck while attempting to cross at the intersection of 9th and Philadelphia Streets with his wife around 9:18 a.m. Reeger was treated on-scene and taken to IRMC by Citizens’ Ambulance EMTs, where he succumbed to his injuries at 10:13 a.m. Reeger’s cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
His wife was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Her condition is not known at this time.
