43 year old, Michael Joseph Hornberger, of Hawthorn, is facing DUI, drug, and vehicle-related charges after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop, abandoning a stolen truck, and being found intoxicated on a walking trail in New Bethlehem on February 24.
According to Explore Clarion, Hornberger sped away from a traffic stop, ditched the vehicle in a Smucker’s parking lot, and was later found showing signs of intoxication. He refused sobriety tests but later tested positive for alcohol, cocaine, and THC. He is now facing multiple charges, including DUI and unauthorized use of a vehicle, and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
