The faculty union leader at state-owned colleges has called for Commonwealth University President Bashir Hanna to resign or be fired following a $3.9 million lawsuit won by former dean Jeffrey Krug, who alleged retaliation after supporting a sexual harassment complaint against Hanna.
Union President Dr. Kenneth Mash cited this, along with ongoing budget, enrollment, and morale issues, as reasons for Hanna’s removal, urging university leaders to act or face faculty votes of no confidence.
