Defenseman Kris Letang, sidelined by illness for three games, practiced without restrictions and skated on the top pairing and second power-play unit.
Coach Mike Sullivan said both players are being evaluated for Friday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets. Forwards Cody Glass and Blake Lizotte, recovering from concussions, skated before practice and were labeled as making progress. The Penguins welcome the Winnipeg Jets to PPG Paints Arena on Friday night.
