A DuBois man was arrested following a traffic stop in Clearfield County on Sunday.
State Police in DuBois say charges of DUI and child endangerment will be filed against 25-year-old Lane Bigelow. Troopers say they noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from Bigelow’s vehicle after they had stopped him along Third Street in Troutville Borough. Police note an 8-year-old boy was a passenger in the vehicles.
Troopers conducted a standard field sobriety test and found Bigelow to be impaired.

A traffic stop last Friday led police to a discovery of what appeared to be a forgery operation in Punxsutawney.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, State Police in Punxsutawney filed criminal charges against 41-year-old Sangoule Diawara and 25-year-old Tanija Ashely Scott of New York. The charges stem from a report of a vehicle driving erratically in Young Township of Jefferson county. Police did not find the vehicle on scene but later located it along West Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney borough.
During the stop police reportedly observed suspected drugs and paraphernalia. Troopers conducted a search of the vehicle which reportedly turned up numerous credit, debit, and gift cards with the names of different people.
Police also reportedly found photocopies of several state ID’s, social security cards, tax forms, checks, drugs, and paraphernalia.
Diawara and Scott were both lodged in Jefferson County Jail with preliminary hearings set for April 13.

State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred last Friday on a private drive near State Route 219 and 286 in Burnside Township of Clearfield County.
Police say an unknown driver turned off Route 219 onto the private driveway and struck a tree. Troopers say the vehicle sustained functional damage to the front and and the driver fled the scene.
Police say the driver was not located during a canvas of the area.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.

State Police have released the details of a two-vehicle crash that injured a woman on I-80 in Brookville Borough earlier this month.
Police say the crash occurred March 21 on I-80 westbound near mile-marker 79. Troopers say a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Maha Elgheur of New York was pulling back into the right lane of the highway from a parked position and entered the lane in front of a freightliner truck driven by 27-year-old Kevin C. Eubanks of Florida. Eubank’s truck then reportedly struck the rear of Elgheur’s vehicle which went off the road and came to a final rest in the grass.
Elgheur suffered injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Penn Highlands Brookville by Jefferson County EMS.
Police say Eubanks was uninjured and was cited for a traffic violation.
