Police say a Mayport woman was injured in a crash that occurred on I80 in Venango County last week.
State Police in Franklin say the accident happened around 7:00 pm on May 19 on I80 near mile-marker 39 in Scrubgrass Township. Troopers say 21-year-old Anna Strawcutter of Mayport was traveling westbound in the left lane when the vehicle went onto the shoulder and hit the rumble trips. Strawcutter reportedly over corrected and went back onto the road before losing control. The vehicle traveled across both lanes, ran off the road and hit a guide rail. It came to a final rest with both passenger side wheels over the guide rail.
Strawcutter suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to Grove City Medical Center by Emlenton Area Ambulance Service.

Brookville Borough Police filed theft charges on May 17 against a Brookville man accused of failing to pay a bill for service to his vehicle.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, a known business in Brookville Borough provided parts and service to 63-year-old Derek Plyler totaling about $1,185 in October of last year – police were provided information regarding the incident of possible theft of services earlier this month. Police sent a letter to Plyler in April advising him to pay the debt but as of May 8 the debt was still not paid. Police were unable to contact Plyler by phone but were able to make contact with him at his residence. Plyler reportedly told police he had a verbal agreement with the business to pay at a later date. But, police were reportedly informed on May 14 that the information Plyler gave them about the agreement was false.
A preliminary hearing is set for July 6.

A Clymer man is facing fleeing and eluding charges after leading state police in Indiana on a vehicle pursuit in Center Township on Tuesday.
According to WCCSRadio.com, the man – who remains unidentified – fled police after stealing a car. The man reportedly wrecked the car near Waterman along Route 56 and continued the pursuit on foot through a wooded area.
State police helicopters were called in to assist with the search. They circled over Homer City Borough and Center Township for a period of time before troopers found and arrested the man.

Police say a Punxsutawney man is facing charges for allegedly threatening two people during an eviction in Bell Township of Jefferson County on Monday.
State Police in Punxsutawney responded to the disturbance around 10:30 am at a location along State Route 36. Troopers say the disturbance began when a 64-year-old female victim from Punxsutawney, a 42-year-old male victim from Walston, and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office officials were serving an eviction on a a 55-year-old Punxsutawney man. According to police it was reported that the suspect threatened to murder the victims as he was escorted from the premises.
Police say charges are pending. The suspects name was not released.
